Welcome to the site of Jordan Keene (JK) Racing.
I began racing as a youngster in a youth ministock, then progressed to a stockcar 77W, which was a Rees Race Car orignially owned by Gary Hayes 52P.   I now own and will this season begin racing a Superstock   77W.   It is the   ex 17c Wayne Anderson, Darren Cox machine it has a huge history behind it, its a kuriger chassis with a Toyota Quadcam V8, i have a huge passion for speedway at my home track which is Te Marua Speedway.

My aim is to race at most new Zealand titles should finances allow and my goal is to become number one in my class one day but that is way in the distance, first up I need to get comfortable and come to grips with my new superstock.

A huge thanks must go to my Grandad for all his support, patience   & always being there for me.

28.09.09 MAJOR UPDATE

Hello everyone,

I have a bit of time on my hands tonight and alot has changed for myself and Liana in the past 2 months so thought I would do an update. As most of you probably know, I am now a father to a beautiful baby girl McKenzie Belle Keene, born August 3rd 2009.

We have also brought our own house with ALOT of help from my Mum (Thanks Mum!!) as myself being a student and Liana working part time, we couldnt get a home loan so the rent to buy deal is doing it for us.

So, due to those 2 MAJOR things that have happened in the last 2 months I have decided that, time wise and financially that I will not be racing the superstock this season.   Main reason being I want to spend time with my family. Also I am currently building a AU Falcon standard stock race engine with all the good bits and a machined Head n block as a project I have always wanted to do.   This should   will be finished in the next few weeks and will be up for sale   for $3,500.

BUT....

I have had a few ideas going through my head, I have talked to the family and some close mates about and they like the idea and think that it will be a good move for me. Those ideas are:

1. Finish off the superstock, so that is put it all back together and ready to race   WITHOUT engine and seat, and sell as a complete package with spares etc for $18,000 o.n.o (so its the $30,000 package I had advertised not that long ago MINUS engine and seat) everything else goes with it. if interested contact me with a serious offer on 0277669657 as the sooner it goes, the sooner I can start the new car.

2. Once the chassis has sold (depending on how much I get for it) order a brand new chassis and put my current CSL Toyota into it. I have an idea on the one I want and have been in talks with the likes of Tony True, Marx Motorsport, Scott Hewson and Peewee, so the price I get for the current 77w will determine what chassis I will buy.

3. depending on how quick the 77w sells and how long it takes to build a chassis I will build up the "new car" over this season and the off season hoping to be back out in the 2010/11 season. If the 77w sells earlier I may even hope to be out in March or April (all depending on money, time and Family)

So I am not giving up racing at all but due to the new house, a baby and being a student (for another 2 years after this year!!) I am unable to give the superstock the time and money it needs spent on it to race.

I am hoping all my current sponsors would like to carry on that sponsorship when I return next season and I am always on the lookout for new sponsors also.

Until next time
